I think this is a shockwave problem. I see the same result on Mac IE 5.1
This seems a plugin issue. reassign to plug in group

What version of Flash are you using? This looks correct to me on OSX in both
Gecko and IE using Flash 6 d30 (scriptable beta).
meant to give this to peterl for debugging

http://www.sony.co.jp/Shop/ is not existing any more.

However, on 07-02 branch build / linux RH7.2-JA, I still see the garbage display
in main page http://www.sony.co.jp (looks like macromedia flash player 5),
although no problem on Mac OS X.

Does this reproduce in any other browser on linux? May depend on bug 139820.

Priority: -- → P3
Whiteboard: [PL2:NA]
Target Milestone: --- → mozilla1.0.2
this is not mozilla bug,
flash player cannot use device font fro some reason maybe such font doesn't exist...
nothing we can change in mozilla code to force flash to do the right thing.
Target Milestone: mozilla1.0.2 → Future
This was resolved by Macromedia flash 6 r60 beta, the page is displayed fine
with that version on linux RH7.2.
This is clearly fixed by something external to Mozilla so marking Resolved Invalid (after 7 years).
