these servers are running out of warranty end of april. i found one that ended in march. do we plan to renew these hosts?

We do, as of right now there aren't any plans that I'm aware of to decommission these.

mpressman> just to be clear though, last year I reduced our needs from the 30 nodes to 20. However, I don't know how much notice that got outside of our Cloudera license. So, hardware wise, we are no longer in need of node[21-30].peach.metrics.scl3.

warranty has been renewed for these hosts but their warranty hasn't lapsed yet. will revisit once it expires on 4/30/17.

The current maintenance is until , 4/30 so the new contract won’t kick in until 5/1/17.
