Details

Netscape 6.X :
NPN_GetURLNotify works in HTTP but does NOT work in HTTPS.....

NPP_URLNotify is called when requesting http://.... urls using
NPN_GetURLNotify, but NPP_URLNotify is never called when requesting
https://.... urls (using NPN_GetURLNotify too), NPP_DestroyStream is called
anyway... So, a solution is to redirect to NPP_URLNotify when NPP_DestroyStream
is called in Netscape 6.X..... Not quite good, but...
Reporter:

Do you have the same experience on a nightly Mozilla build:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/

What is your buildID?
Build was :

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; fr-FR; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011128
Netscape6/6.2.1

(same problem on Windows 2000 Advanced server, server, professionnel and
Windows XP professionnel)
Reporter:

That build is VERY old. This is a Mozilla bugbase. Please try with a recent
Mozilla build as I believe this has been fixed.
Even if this version is very old (not that much anyway) it's still a bug... We
spent a lot of time trying to fix it, and we reported it because any developer
can encounter the same problem...

Anyway, I will try with a newer version and report the result.

(Some of our customers still use Netscape 4.03, 4.51 and 4.77, for those
people, Netscape 6.21 is a brand new version of Netscape)
Reporter:
The point is that this is not a netscape database. We accept only Mozilla bugs
and only from recent builds.
Your build is too old (it's based on Mozilla 0.9.4 and we are currently at
0.9.9) and it's no mozilla build.
marking bug as INVALID with the understanding that if the reporter can
reproduce this on a new mozilla build it will be re-opened.
