User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 Build ID: 20161209095719 Steps to reproduce: 1) New install of bugzilla from release-5.0-stable branch 2) Create a single bug 3) Enable whiteboard Actual results: Any non-empty quicksearch returns the single bug. Will attach the XML-RPC data used for querying. If I set search_allow_no_criteria to "off", all quicksearch searches return an error: "You may not search, or create saved searches, without any search terms." Expected results: The bug should not have been returned for queries that did not match it. For example, both queries for OPEN bugs and CLOSED bugs return the one bug in the database. The bug cannot be both OPEN and CLOSED. Given that all queries give an error when search_allow_no_criteria is "off", it would appear that something in bugzilla is interpreting all quicksearch searches all requests for all bugs.
