Firefox 52 is in Beta. We already have KB articles such as https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Fix-slowness-crashing-error/Why-do-Java-Silverlight-Adobe-Acrobat-and-other-plugins-no/ta-p/31069 with {for fx52} content. Previous to migration, the version picker included Firefox 52. The version picker on the new Lithium site only goes up to Firefox Version 51.
Joni, can you add Firefox version 52 to the version picker on Lithium? If Joni is not available, can another admin do this?

I've added 52 and it's showing up in the picker now. Please re-open this bug if you see any problems.

This is strange. When I view a KB article in Firefox 51 or in SeaMonkey, I don't have the option to select Version 52 in the picker, like I did on the old site. It only goes up to Firefox version 51.
Joni, Can you review https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Fix-slowness-crashing-error/Why-do-Java-Silverlight-Adobe-Acrobat-and-other-plugins-no/ta-p/31069 since something isn't right. This might be bug 1336834 since the "for not fx52" content in the Intro is showing instead of the "for fx52" content, even when I view the article in Firefox 52 Beta and version 52 appears in the picker (I have a revision pending to work around that but I wanted you to check it first).

I've reviewed and published the article. I don't see 52 appearing in the picker for that specific article, perhaps because we don't have any 52-related content. This will require further investigation in general.

I noticed that I CAN select the Firefox 52 (and 53) version picker in this template,
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Firefox/Template-PluginSupportEOL/ta-p/28718
...which includes both for fx52 and for not fx52 content. The version picker works (I see for fx52 content) when viewed in Firefox 51.
However, other articles that have the same for fx52 and for not fx52 content, DO NOT show fx52 in the version picker:
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Manage-preferences-and-add-ons/Use-the-Java-plugin-to-view-interactive-content-on-websites/ta-p/3244
In general, I found that articles in certain KB locations DO include Firefox version 52 and 53 in the version picker, such as:
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Documents-Archive/tkb-p/documents-archive
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Templates/ct-p/Templates
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Contributor-Knowledge-Base/tkb-p/contributor-kb
It so happens that these locations also displayed the Freemarker template error which was recently fixed (bug 1339484) . Maybe this is somehow related?

Here's another KB article location, from bug 1339484 comment 5 where articles now include the version picker for Firefox 52 and 53:
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Bookmarks-and-Tabs/tkb-p/Bookmarks-Tabs-fireFox
The "Bookmarks and Tabs" location is under the "Archive -> Basic Browsing" folder, as shown in this attachment:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8838440
Here's the example KB article in that location, as reported in bug 1339484 comment 4:
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Bookmarks-and-Tabs/How-do-I-restore-my-tabs-from-last-time/ta-p/4158
The Platform/Version tool in the article editor doesn't work at all, however, in those articles.

Correction:
KB articles in third location, https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Contributor-Knowledge-Base/tkb-p/contributor-kb did NOT show a Freemarker error before bug 1339484 was fixed but they DO display Firefox version 52 and 53 in the Firefox version picker, for example,
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Contributor-Knowledge-Base/Anatomy-of-a-Knowledge-Base-article/ta-p/26829
As a test, I moved the following article into the "Contributor Knowledge Base" location, and the Firefox 52 - 53 version picker appeared:
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Manage-preferences-and-add-ons/Use-the-Java-plugin-to-view-interactive-content-on-websites/ta-p/3244
When I moved the article back to the original location, the Firefox 52 and 53 version picker was gone.

I was mistaken, the Platform-Version tool does work (you have to select some text first). I'll mention this in the related bug 1341813.
