I can't seem to use JavaScript to turn layer visibility on.
The same code works in a previous version.

Browser, not engine. Reassigning to Browser-General until we can
get further info. Mike: could you attach a reduced testcase via
the "Create a New Attachment" link above, or post a URL in the
URL field? We need to see exactly what you're talking about.
If it's document.layers or the <LAYER> tag, please be aware that
these are non-W3C and have been deprecated in Mozilla/N6 ...
