When I check perfherder graph via https://treeherder.mozilla.org/perf.html#/graphs?timerange=604800&series=%5Bautoland,c3b83460564c08c3ef5ca3da66af9506ee7799f3,1,2%5D&selected=%5Bautoland,c3b83460564c08c3ef5ca3da66af9506ee7799f3,169732,76722190,2%5D, it has 2 mixed data (build-android-api-15 and build-android-api-15-gradle).

Since 2 data seems to be different, we should separate graph to look delta easy.
This shouldn't be so hard, we've done similar things for other types of builds. :ted, :chhmanchester, could one of you pick this up? (or give it to someone else who could)

gps added a `perfherder_extra_options` key to mozharness configs in bug 1315410 that can be used for this purpose, like:

I sort of think we should just have the gradle builds on a separate platform line in the treeherder ui so they don't get bunched together in the first place. The tests against gradle builds are on their own line, but the builds aren't, so this seems like a quirk or oversight in the TC configs.

Nick, any objection to having Bg show up as a separate platform in Treeherder?

I think this is just ignorance on my part. It's never been clear to me how different build axes were supposed to be distinguished: for example, opt/debug vs. moz.build/Gradle vs. compile/artifact. Please juggle as necessary.
