Build: 2002-03-28-06-trunk(WIN), 2002-03-28-08-trunk(MAC), 2002-03-28-08-trunk(LINUX) 1. Let's use Windows as an example. Open ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/windows/32bit/x86/2002-03-28-10-trunk/update.html 2. Click Launch XPInstall button 3. Click Install button from Software Installation dialog 4. Check Install.log after completing installation RESULT: The Install.log will show: Install completed successfully, restart required -- 03/28/2002 16:15:16 at the end of some packages. EXPECTED RESULT: No "restart required" appears because it is no longer necessary.
I bet it is required, check for a xpicleanup.dat being produced and .new or .old files laying around. Typically it'll be the chrome .jar files on WinNT, on Win9x it'll be just about everything. Note: "restart" (of the browser), not "reboot". Marking INVALID unless I've completely misunderstood here.

Restart is not reboot. How many users know the difference? I will submit an enhancement bug report to suggest a kinder, gentler description. :-) Marking Verified.
