Per discussion on bug 1341338, it would be good if we could add a test for the fix there.

There's already some tests in the feeds directory that may help form a test for this.

I'm pretty sure the feedReader var should actually be the handler var based upon the code found in addToClientReader. This in my code was struggling to ever auto trigger an external client.

The code I am working on is for Bug 1341191.
