The Third Party Library Alert Service cannot detect what version Hyphen is because it is only documented in commit messages/bugzilla. If we can add the version somewhere into a README or other file, then we can detect what version we have, and when/if it goes out of date. I'm attaching the 2.8.8 NEWS file which contains the version and may (?) be the easiest way to note the version. (That is, when a new hyphen version comes out, just copy the NEWS file over with the other few files.)

Yeah, that sounds like a good option.
