When highlighting text in an existing mail message that has been received, the
copy function does not work when using the context menu. Highlighted text can
be copied / pasted when using key stroke (i.e ctlr-c / ctrl-v). Menu option is
available on context menu but it does not seem to work.
WFM on 2002032803 with Win2k. I don't think the problem you describe is an RFE.

Build: 2002033009, Modern theme, Windows XP, the same bug happen here too,
anoying bug.
However, Ctrl+c does the trick.
Same here in win2k/modern theme/rc3. After using copy from the main edit-menu,
the copy option works again from the right click menu. Before that, it's greyed out.
Build 2002052309, classic theme, Mandrake 8.0: this problem also
exists, but only in messages that has been opened in new windows;
in this case, the "select all" and "copy" does not work
in the context menu (right-click) (similar problem
as in bug 148436).
This also happens for paste. Using the context menu to paste in an address it
fails but ctrl-v works just fine.
PS: Build 2002101612 (AKA Mozilla 1.2b)
WFM build 2003032104 WinXP
Resolving as WFM, reopen the bug if you can reproduce the bug with a newer build.
