In Firefox Developer Edition 53.0a2(2017-02-25)(32-bit) just checked 'Whats new' at About Firefox
Actual results:
the new tab crash with this; Invalid security certificate

new tab working good

Jay, your computer seems infected by something that modifies and inspects your browsing traffic and thus creates fradulent certificates for the websites you visit.
We can not provide help with cleaning your PC, but asking your favorite web search engine for something like "OtherSearch" will help you with the next steps.
It seems https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/185179-removal-instructions-for-othersearch/ might be helpful.
