Details

I've been using Mozilla as my primary browser for months and love it. I'm
especially fond of the ability to give each bookmark a keyword and description.
Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to supply a keyword or description for
a bookmark at the time that you add/file the bookmark.

After adding/filing a bookmark, having to stop browsing, open the bookmarks
manager, find the bookmark that you added, and access the properties dialog is a
hassle. I myself rarely don't use the keyword/description features nearly as
much as I would like to because the process of doing so is disruptive to the
browsing experience. Giving users the choice of adding this information (for
instance, by adding an "Advanced" button to the File Bookmark dialog that would
reveal/hide keyword and description fields when clicked) would be a huge quality
of life advancement for users.

In addition, giving users a preference (even if it was switched off by default)
to "use embedded document metadata for bookmark description" would also be
helpful. When this option was selected, Mozilla would populate the
"description" field in the bookmark properties with information pulled from meta
tags (if present) in the document being bookmarked.
