We currently have huge amounts of content for media development, but nothing that ties it all together or helps people figure out which API is the right one for their needs.

We need a basic "Media on the Web" landing page and subsequent articles that tie everything together, guiding people through learning the basics of <audio> and <video> to using Web Audio and Media Streams and so forth through WebRTC and the like. Our content so far is only useful if you already know which API you need to use.
