I am currently evaluating Superset as a potential tool for use cases outside of redash's scope. I have a fairly good understanding of Superset's development environment[1], which I tested using a Presto cluster and local Superset instance on EMR. 

I would like to stand up a Superset instance in EC2, and connect to our current presto cluster via a presto:// connection string. This configuration allows for access to datasets registered in hive. I believe this is possible because of a similar setup in redash[2].
