User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Steps to reproduce: - upgrade firefox to latest version (52) - open a URL with audio content Actual results: No sound whatsoever. Expected results: Should have been sound playing.
This happens on a laptop running latest arch linux 64bits. Downgrading to firefox v51 fixes the issue.
Arch's Firefox packager fixed the issue by recompiling with alsa support. Upgrading to 52.0-2 and sound is working again. Here's the bug report: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/53195

Another fresh bug report about ALSA support which is probably a duplicate: bug 1345414.
