To reproduce:
- Launch apprunner
- Select File | Open

Result: The app hangs and must be force-quit.

Expected result: A file picker is displayed, etc.

Probably ours; I recently changed this to use JS instead of C++ to open the file
picker.  I'll check it out on my Linux box.

I just tested this and it worked fine.  I think my recent changes to this code
must have fixed it.

Using the 1999092208 build under Linux, this does indeed still happen for me.
The UI has changed in the meantime; this was seen using File | Open File
(Ctrl+L). After selecting that, nothing further works in the application, the
window is never repainted, etc.

I just tried again with my build from today (10/12) and it works.  Please let me
know if this is still broken for you and I'll try to figure out what's going on.

I'm reassigning to mcafee (he can send me any Windows bugs he gets :-).  I
recall a similar Unix problem that I was unable to reproduce (something about
print and close menu items getting confused).  Might have something to do with
one's window manager or something?

Both File | Open Web Location... and File | Open File...
are working for me, marking so.
Using the 1999110508 build on my Linux box, it still hangs. Perhaps someone
could come have a look at it?
