Details

Build ID: 1999090908
Platform: RH Linux 6

To reproduce:
- Launch apprunner
- Open the prefs
- In the Debug pane, set the Widget rendering pref to either partial-gfx or gfx
- OK the change
- Create a new browser window
- Go to yahoo.com
- Type something into the text input control
- Click Search

Result: nothing happens.

Expected result: the form is submitted.

This works fine with native widgets.
BTW, I did not mark this PP as I can't check it on Win32 (the prefs for widget
rendering appear to have disappeared) or on Mac OS (you can't select radio
buttons in the prefs on the Mac). So, I don't know whether or not this is
cross-platform.

Works with 9-8-99 11:30am build on Linux.
Works with 9-9-99 10:00am build on WIN32.

The [PP] indicates that a bug is reproducible on only one platform, in this case
Linux. The original bug report also indicated that the problem occured in the
1999090908 build; you tested against an earlier (September 8) build.

I've just downloaded the 1999090909 build (a slightly newer build) on Linux and
tested this again, carefully following the instructions in this bug report - and
it's still broken. Reopening and clearing resolution.

Ramiro, can you look at this?. It is working on WIN32. Was working on Linux on
Sept 8, 1999. I haven't checked in anything recently that would affect this.
