User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 Build ID: 20170307064827 Steps to reproduce: I just upgraded from V52 to V53 beta (I am on beta channel). Actual results: All my passwords seem gone. New password usaged do not get stored. The settings are to keep passwords, but the switch for master password has been disabled. I was using a master password before. So I think it could be the loss of this setting, which creates my trouble?! Trying to reenable master password fails: Old password field is grayed out, when I try to type the old master password as new master password, firefox tells me, it cannot be done. I actually keep passwords synced, but the password sync password and mail are hours away, so I cannot easily resync. Expected results: Password should have kept (there is still hope for that) and kept available as it was with all updates.

Inspecting logins.json, it seems all passwords could in that file (it is large and has many entries). However ff53 assumes, there is no master password set and I have found no way to reenable master password.
Any news here? It is really unconvenient, to work with a Firefox without passwords.
OK, FF 54 seems to have simply reconnect to the still present crypted password database, so the problem is gone for me. Hope this issue did not touch too many users.
