I'm working on the Firefox Hardware Report [1] as a front-end developer. Apparently Ali Almossawi, the former front-end developer on the site, pushed new code code by manually copying files (via scp) from his machine to dashboard1.metrics.scl3.mozilla.com:/data/www/metrics.mozilla.com/firefox-hardware-report. In order to do so myself, I'll also need access to dashboard1.metrics.scl3.mozilla.com with write access to /data/www/metrics.mozilla.com/firefox-hardware-report. Thanks! I believe I've made the necessary changes to vpn and ssh configuration (requires about an hour to propogate to the server). Please let me know if it works for you.
Hey Justin. I can SSH into the machine, but it looks like I don't have write access to /data/www/metrics.mozilla.com/firefox-hardware-report. As it turns out, I'll also need write access to /data/www/metrics.mozilla.com/firefox-survey-staging to push to the staging site. Thanks!
Ok, I tracked it down. It looks like these directories were owned directly by Ali's old UID number, rather than via any specific group memberships. I've gone ahead and updated them to be owned by your UID number, so I believe this should resolve the issue.
