Details
name of the component: CA Certificate Mis-Issuance
product it should go in: mozilla.org
default assignee: kwilson@mozilla.com
longer description: Problems found in certificates issued by Certificate Authorities included in the default certificate store.
Reason for request:
There are currently two different types of bugs in mozilla.org :: CA Certificates, the normal root inclusion process and incidents/concerns about already included roots.

Could you please provide an estimate for when this will happen?
There are many bugs that I need to update with new triage information:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/CA_Bug_Triage#CA_Certificate_Issuance_Problems_and_Incidents
But I was planning to assign them to this new component at the same time.
However, I need to have the triage information updated in the bugs by the end of March, so I can https://wiki.mozilla.org/CA/ca-bugs before I send the next CA Communication, which requires CAs to get these bugs resolved.
So, I'm just wondering if I should wait for the new component to be created? Or if I should just go ahead and update the whiteboard/triage information now.
Thanks,
Kathleen

Sorry, but have to re-open...
Request was:
name of the component: CA Certificate Mis-Issuance
product it should go in: mozilla.org
default assignee: kwilson@mozilla.com
longer description: Problems found in certificates issued by Certificate Authorities included in the default certificate store.
What actually happened:
It got put into product "www.mozilla.org" instead of "mozilla.org".
From https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?full=1
mozilla.org: The administration of the Mozilla Project and its servers (Website content bugs will belong in the www.mozilla.org product)

My apologies, Kathleen, I misread the parent component. It's now added under mozilla.org instead of www.mozilla.org.
