User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Build ID: 20170313030209 Actual results: unluckily while watching every html5 video (like youtube, openload etc )after a few seconds macbook fan spins like crazy, cpu usage seems quite low (about(10 % vs 6 %of chrome/safari) so the culprit may be gpu usage problem happens on my macbook oro retina late 2013 with integrated iris pro 6200 and latest osx stable. problem still occours with a fresh profile ,with safari and chrome no issue .
Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Product: Firefox → Core
disabling e10 s solve the issue so some developer may want to look into the issue
Can you check https://www.youtube.com/html5 to see if "MSE & WebM VP9" is available?
