User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Print a label (pdf document) directly from firefox to a label printer. Actual results: the document prints out blurry. use with another browser and print same pdf document to label printer it comes out fine Expected results: it should come out as the preview however there is a loss of quality
Is it possible to scan the print output as PDF and attach it to the bug report to see the result?

Hello, I can confirm. All clients in my company witch have updated to V52 habe a problem printing PDF. I looks all / or at least many of files have this problem. Display in Firefox is OK. Printing HTML is also fine. I can upload many samples on Monday. .. BR Johannes
In addition, is the issue reproducible when printing with a virtual printer (like Microsoft XPS Document Writer e.g.), or only with physical printer?
see attached file. this is the file from the orginal bugreport. printed to XPS and printed to PDF-prints this is like it looks like on our physical printers fonts are cutted/missing on the top BR Johannes

i think this should be reproducible very easily... do you confirm? i could upload a lot of samples, but this is all the same problem/bug
Yes, I confirm it with a fresh profile and FF52 on Win 7. But I can't reproduce it with my old current profile in FF52, maybe because e10s is disabled. I'll investigate.

i see this problem with win10 and win7. also on 32bit and 64bit Firefox
in my opinion this is an urgent problem; i believe a lot of persons are printing pdf, and also if Adobe Reader plugin is not working any more
What johannes feigl has attached is exactly the issue that is occurring. Since friday i have had 140 individuals who have reported this issue to me. I believe this will grow as next week begins. Only alternative i advise them is to use another browser.

It's already fixed in FF53+ by bug 1311512. Fix range: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/pushloghtml?fromchange=c1f076 f55d8c3de786e7e4c96c57567e46297686&tochange=4849ef8c9a349fff273903b9b31ef34ce7f6 a5bc As workaround in FF52, you can disable multiprocess (e10s), it prints fine with e10s disabled: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Electrolysis#Firefox_Release
