Actual results:

The text should be "100 Roubles" (unicode symbol of Rouble)


Expected results:

The text is "100 <a square with numbers>"

Currently the error occurs for me only in macOS Sierra.

In Chrome everything is fine.
In Firefox (current, x64) in Windows 10 everything is fine.

I believe this will be fixed by bug 1330389, which landed for Firefox 53. Could you please try Firefox 53 beta (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/#beta) and confirm whether you still see the problem? Thanks.
