Actual Result:
When external links (say from a mail client etc.) are clicked multiple times, it opens on different tabs
Expected Result:
When external links are clicked multiple times, it should open the same tab which was previously opened by that link, refreshing it. This would avoid cluttering of same tabs, because of multiple clicks

@Sebastin, thank you for reporting this. Activity Streams is an add-on and has nothing to do with your issue.
From what I've understood from your description, this sounds more like an enhancement. If it's not the case, please provide more information and actual steps in another comment.
I will assign a possible related component. Maybe someone with more experience regarding this could provide some feedback.
