Done; it was only 348kb or so
I reset the cache and userdata via fastboot, but we'll need to set it up again and root it. Sending stephend a mail explaining...

Created attachment 8848009 [details] recover-pixel-07.txt These are the instructions. Once the initial setup and usb debugging is enabled, I can root it and afterwards we can complete the setup. It should only take a few minutes. stephend: If you won't be able to do this today, please let me know and we'll see if Van is available. If either one of you is available Thursday, please take the bug and remove the other NIs. Sorry for the screwup. I should have used recovery to wipe the dalvik cache alone and we wouldn't be in this situation. Thanks!
I may be able to configure the wifi remotely but it is probably safer if it is done on-site.
Van is on PTO until Monday.
I'm aiming to be in early tomorrow and complete this; I have a doctor's appointment @ 1pm, for which I'll need to commute back near home, though.
Bob and I worked together to get the phone set up so he could continue with it remotely. Bob, please reopen and need-info me if something additional needs my help; I'll be back in-office on Monday (heading back near home for appointment, then WFH the rest of today).
