With OS X Firefox 52.0 (64-bit) on Sierra, when trying to File->Print->"Open PDF In Preview", the page at http://www.newyorker.com/news/sporting-scene/a-mathematician-confronts-march-madness fails to print with "Print Preview Error - An error occurred while printing."

I'll bisect this with mozregression and update the bug.

I found a fix I've been fighting for 6+ months now with the "Preview in Firefox" PDF viewer generating the same message you reported above.  I'm on a Windows 7 x64 platform, but hey...  Nothing fixed it except for this:

Go to about:config.
Find the key "security.sandbox.content.tempDirSuffix" and "Reset" it (nullify it).

Please let me know if this fixes it for you.
