Steps to reproduce:

Any search query contain "mario" forces a crash. "Marioo" does not, "maria" does not, but "starman mario" crashes, "asdads mario" crashes. It happens whether you google at the search bar or in google.com.


Actual results:

Always crash


Expected results:

Not crash, show results.

1) in safe mode:

Everything works fine now. At that time even safe mode had the same problem. I didn't try refresh the profile, since I didn't want to lose the addons and settings.

Could you test with a fresh profile? (you don't need to reset or delete the current one, just start FF with a fresh profile from the profile manager).

IMHO, it's due to one of your add-ons. In addition, type about:support and copy here the extensions table.

This looks like it was probably some kind of corruption within DirectWrite that subsequently got cleaned up (ganuongphap, did you perhaps restart your machine? Or at least log out of Windows?). Unless it happens again (and persists), I don't think there's much we can do to investigate further.

Not sure if this is the same problem, but for a last couple days some interactive buttons from websites (Google, Stack Exchange) cannot work properly. It reloads when I click on the Tools button on Google, or the vote or flag button on Stack Exchange. I have tried to disable JS but this still persists. It doesn't happen in Safe Mode. Do you have any idea?

This sounds like a different issue and should probably be filed separately. I agree with Jonathan.

I filed bug 1356399 for the Aurora top crash to avoid too much confusion in this bug.
