Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build ID: 20170316213829 Steps to reproduce: Use firefox as usual. My phone or tablet is connected to my home wifi, so is my Chromecast dongle. I'm trying to surf the web... Notes: 1/ tablet: Android 6 (Nexus 7 MkII), phone: Android 5 (HTC One) 1/ HTC: about:firefox says my browser is 52.0 (no updates available) Nexus: 52.01 (no updates available) 3/ my router broadcats on 2.5GHz and 5GHz - normally is doesn't matter what device connects to what protocol - they can all communicate with each other. The phone/tablets connect randomly to either when I walk into my house. The Chromecast is only capable of connecting on 2.5GHz. The problem occurrs no matter what my phone or tablet connect on 4/ same problem with a friend's Hudl tablet/Firefox (don't know specifics) 5/ same problem with a partner's 10.1" Samsung "Pro" tablet/Firefox (don't know specifics) 6/ a friend has exactly these symptoms when his smart TV is powered on - when he switches his TV off all is OK. Actual results: No pages whatsoever will load/appear. I see blank/white browser window and the progress bar stops a about 15%. This state remains for ever so long as the Chromecast is powered on. If I power off the Chromecast all works perfectly Expected results: I expect to be able to browse as normal no matter what device in my house is powered on or connected to my Wifi router
