User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build ID: 20170316213829 Steps to reproduce: Some Thunderbird tasks require two hands. Actual results: For example, the standard way to switch from html to plain text is to use shift+click when clicking write or reply. (With Mac Sticky Keys, shift *then* click leaves things in html. I haven't tested Linux and Windows versions.) Fortunately, there's another way under the options menu. Expected results: * Any command which requires key+click is an accessibility problem. * Some commands which require distant keys can be an accessibility problem, depending on keyboard layout. * Any command which uses numbered function keys is an accessibility problem on the Mac - the fn modifier key doesn't work with Sticky Keys. * Some help pages which assume that users can use two hands: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Font_settings_in_Thunderbird http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_:_FAQs_:_Viewing_Headers (duplicate) http://kb.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder_-_Thunderbird http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_:_FAQs_:_Create_Mailing_List "(some people may need to hold Ctrl key when drag-and-dropping)"

I tested 60.6.1 on win7 with shift+Write and shift+Delete - both fail.
Is it known whether sticky-keys should work with buttons?

The following raise the question of whether there are core issues:
- Bug 411669 - Selecting multiple items breaks when accessibility setting "sticky keys" is activated
- Bug 732997 - Can't select multiple mails using Windows "sticky keys"
- Bug 873874 - Modified mousedown events blocked, polluted, or misreported
- Bug 1302381 - Add helper function for WidgetInputEvent to check if we should handle the event with modifiers

I'm really sorry. I don't have the time to look at this issue.
Best regards,
Alex.

Is any of this better for you with newer versions?

Tested with plain text vs. html; Shift+Click works in 115.
