1351538 - fennec does not show keyboard when some textboxes are focused

I've noticed recently that the keyboard does not reliably show up in fennec when I focus some textbox elements.  The most reliable STR I have are:

1. Try to visit mozilla gmail on fennec while logged out.
2. You will get the redirect to the okta login page.
3. Keyboard will not show up on okta login password textbox.  You can click out and back in, but it won't show up.
4. Go to android homescreen and back to firefox.  Now keyboard will be shown.

I am using aurora FF54 fennec.

Here is a screenshot showing the problem.  I triggered the paste prompt in order to make it clear where the cursor is.

Can you install Nightly and check if it's an issue there?

I'll try when I get a new android phone.  Unfortunately my n5x where I originally saw this died to the infinite reboot loop issue.

Seems to WFM now.
