Talos has detected a Firefox performance regression from push 9ad182a8983188fa58876f8d349e3446b9dc4fd4. As author of one of the patches included in that push, we need your help to address this regression.

I don't really understand how you decided this was the result of that specific push. I see retriggers on the graph

for my push and some inbound stuff, which isn't really enough to pinpoint a random autoland push.

My push was a backout with a small addition specific to about:preferences (which doesn't affect tabpaint), and there was no corresponding change when the original bug landed, so I don't see how this would have caused a regression like this. It looks to me like more tracking is needed to figure out which bug caused the change here.
