[Affected versions]:
Firefox 54.0a2 (Build Id:20170331004006)
Firefox 55.0a1 (Build Id:20170331030216)

[Affected platforms]:
Mac OS X 10.12.
Ubuntu 16.04 64bit.
Windows 10 64bit.
Windows 7 64bit.

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Launch Firefox.
2. Access the https://www.facebook.com webpage and Log In.
3. Switch to another tab.
4. Receive a call on Facebook.
5. Observe that the notification sound is blocked.

[Expected result]:
The notification sound can be heard.

[Actual result]:
The notification sound is not heard.

[Additional notes]:
In my opinion, as a Firefox end-user, I believe that blocking the notification sounds from Facebook (or any other web communication websites such as: Skype, etc) if the user is focusing a non Facebook tab, might negatively affect the end user experience.

I personally suspect that this might be a slight design issue that could make the users miss important Facebook calls or Facebook messages if they have multiple tabs opened and they don't observe the Play Tab button.
I can't reproduce this issue, the notification sound would be heard clearly.
In this situation, actually the sound won't be blocked because the Facebook has been visited before.
Free feel to reopen it if you see this issue again.
