Various repaint problems after clicking a sort
button, both on images and on text.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Filenames in parens refer to screen shots in the
attached zip file.

Test (A):
1. Load page (xsort1.gif)
2. Click "Author" button (xsort2.gif)

Test (B): 
3. Minimize browser window
4. Restore browser window

Test(C):
5. Click "Toggle Style" button (xsort3.gif)
6. Click "Title" button (xsort4.gif)


Actual Results:  Test (A) (After step 2): 
   * First line link text only partially painted
   * "Bethlehem Road" is now listed twice

Test (B):
   * Window is correctly repainted

Test (C) (after step 4):
   * The images in the left column don't match the book titles
   * The images in the right column are corrupted

Expected Results:  Correctly painted windows
