User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.111 Safari/537.36 Vivaldi/1.8.770.50
Steps to reproduce:
Open about 60+ windows, crash firefox somehow.
After restarting firefox, with restore session window open, and creating a new tab or window, firefox is now really slow and does not respond for a while.
No Plugins or extensions installed
Latest firefox 52.0.2 64bit
latest flash 25.0.0.127
latest Java 8 u121
latest updates Windows 8.1 64bit
AlienWare 18x R2 32GB ram 512GB free disk space
Actual results:
Firefox is now really slow and does not respond for a while, when opening a new tab or page.
No matter how many times you restart the computer, still freezes firefox continously
causing it to "Not Respond" for ~30 seconds at a time, as long as the restore session window is open.
Expected results:
No freezing, no high memory usage.
Had to use Vivaldi to send report because of constant freezing with Firefox 52.0.2 64bit

Can you reproduce the issue with clean new fresh profile without any addons (extensions and plugins)[1]?
