I tried to upgrade stage today for the first time in many months. Latest error is this: http://genericadm.private.phx1.mozilla.com/chief/air.stage/logs/f337e7a4d10ff07b05705a7bac11a460eb5da2ff.1491332097 It talks about peep. peep was a tool we used in 2015 to do secure pip installs. We no longer need it since we use pipstrap. There is no peep anywhere in the code base https://github.com/mozilla/airmozilla/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=peep&type= I suspect some old caches are blocking things.

Peter, I just tried and got : fox2mike is pushing air.stage - f337e7a4d10ff07b05705a7bac11a460eb5da2ff We have the new code! Running update tasks. Update tasks complete. Deploying to webheads. Push complete! http://genericadm.private.phx1.mozilla.com/chief/air.stage/logs/f337e7a4d10ff07b05705a7bac11a460eb5da2ff.1491416790 That was the full log. Site does seem to be missing some CSS etc, but I don't know if that's because of a "borked" push.

Such magic! After you did that I tried doing prod and it worked on the first attempt. All is well now. https://whatsdeployed.io/s-6pt To explain that, I have no idea. Do we care? Perhaps it was just bad weather in the Cisco tubes somewhere.
