User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Build ID: 20170327113357 Steps to reproduce: 1. On the day 1, I visit the webpage abc.com/tasks 2. On the day 2, day 3, I open Firefox/54.0 developer version but not access abc.com anymore. All old tabs are closed and I opened new website, new link. 3. I am sure no remain tab which showing the abc.com Actual results: 4. But the Firefox/54.0 developer version still create request to abc.com/tasks every hour, some time it created many times in few minutes. It caused some problem because that link should access only one a month. 5. After monitor network, access log I am sure the requested are created by Firefox/54.0 developer version. 6. Turn off the PC which has Firefox/54.0 developer version or remove it, we don't see new request anymore. 7. We check browser history and don't see any record which show we have any access to abc.com/tasks except the first request we created manually on day 1 Expected results: Firefox shouldn't automatically create any request to the link which I had access on any way. Both Firefox/54.0 developer version on Linux and Windows have same issue. It created many request every time we turn on the PC which installed it.

It could be the service about taking thumbnail for the new tab page.

I think Loic is right. Chuong can you check if this is right? Go to the new tab page (by pressing Ctrl-T or typing about:newtab in the location bar) Click on the settings button on the top right of the page, and select "Show blank page" Then try to reproduce the bug like you did before. Please let us know if you can still reproduce it.

I verify Loic comment. Firefox randomly create request to create thumbnail so our server received unexpected access. I think we can now close this to Invalid - even I don't like this feature ;)
