Crash Data
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020403 BuildID: 2002040310 I have been getting occaisonal crashes of Mozilla for a few months now on this web site. (http://www.wheresgeorge.com/) In particular it seems to be the front page, perhaps on a second load/render. I have an account and am normally logged in (cookies) on the inital and subsequent loads. I don't have my previous talkback ID's but the one that just occured is: TB4817123Q It used to happen often enough I thought I could reproduce it but I'm having trouble "making" it happen. I will continue to work on a real reproduction, but I know I've seen this across other builds. Reproducible: Often Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load http://www.wheresgeorge.com/ 2. View a sub-section from the nav. 3. Click "Wheres George home" in nav to return to the front page. 4. boom. Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: not Talkback ID: TB4817123Q

Today's crash could have been from bug 134664 or bug 134692 (which are likely the same bug) because I often use shift+ctrl+click which crashes quite often with this build. But my old crashes (which I have no TB for) were not related. I'll keep trying to reproduce.

This might be a dup of bug 105594. If so 105594 should be reopened.

Strange I still can't find that bug by searching. Although I did finally stumble across another closed bug 107545 I feel dumb for not searching harder. I'll try and get a 'good' crash on W.G. for the talkback, but I would guess I'm only seeing tab related crashes today.

Ok this bug was gone for quite a while and seems to have returned on me. This is now trunk build 2002-04-26-03 (Not the very newest, but pretty recent as far as good builds. It was suggested by Asa on MozillaZine rather than the branch since they wanted to bake bug 120155 before putting on the branch.) I crashed once and then verified the crash twice: TB5771804G TB5771840Q TB5771954M I'll put a short note on bug 105594 as well.

Another newer build, and I know this one has various layout fixes in place, and I can still crash. Trunk 2002-05-02-04 TB5892611M MOZILLA caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:02c9688f. I'm having a real hard time reproducing this bug with my 06/18/02 TRUNK build. Don, you see this problem still with a nightly build?

I was trying with other builds up until I finally switched my work desktop to Linux. I had no other crashes for this, I reported them all. I was even strting to wonder if it was related to only certain banner ads (flash?) or something intermittant like that. I was running the 1.0.0 RC and final releases and unable to crash, now I'm running 1.1alpha on Linux. I guess RESOLVE INVALID is in order at this point?
