Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0
Build ID: 20170405004003
Steps to reproduce:
Open a new, blank tab in Firefox for Android v52.0.2 on a device with a physical keyboard (a Blackberry Passport in this case, though I'd imagine this may also affect Blackberry Priv and similar devices).
Actual results:
The addressbar isn't automatically selected for input in the new tab when a physical keyboard is present on the device.
Expected results:
Given a physical keyboard is attached, with the full view of the new tab page visible (ie: no virtual keyboard obstructing the view), it would be helpful if the addressbar field was auto selected upon opening a new, blank tab page so a user can begin typing.
This would also match the behavior of the desktop version of Firefox when a keyboard is used.
