Steps to reproduce:

$('.test').click(function () {
	var window_reference = window.open('https://cryptup.org/', '_blank', 'height=600,left=100,menubar=no,status=no,toolbar=no,top=100,width=500');
	setTimeout(function () {
		window_reference.close();
	}, 1000);
});


Actual results:

Popup opens but never closes when running the code as a WebExtension page at moz-extension://6715bdce-18a4-4748-adf6-5882b6dd2060/cryptup/index.htm:

Popup opens and closes in 1s when running the code at http://localhost:63342/cryptup/index.htm


Expected results:

Popup window should be closed in 1s when running as a WebExtension, the way it does when running as a normal web page.
