Noticed that for google.com the favicon is not the correct one after logging in to FxA and syncing from desktop. Talked to Farhan and he explained that the google favicon is only cached for .com so other google subdomains will need to be loaded before their favicons can be shown. Note: - I noticed this behaviour also on other sites such as mozilla.org.
Summary: The correct favicon is displayed only after loading the page → Make sure domains in tippy topsites that have multiple tlds all show the correct favicon
