RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1344457

People

(Reporter: jean-baptiste, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0
Build ID: 20170327113357

Steps to reproduce:

I would like to ease navigation in pontoon.
To me, it would make more sense to have first:
* current project (or localization)
* all localization
* then search field

Most of the time, my work-flow are:
* go from Resource edition page to project page,
* go from Resource edition page to all project page,
* go from Resource edition page to my team page.

Occasionally, I go from one resource to another, or one project to another, based on translation status. You may wish to sort list by completeness.

thanks for your help
We were several French localizers realizing we’re using similar workflows, and that the current breadcrumb menu doesn’t really match our needs.

For instance, I basically work around this by not using the menu at all, and manually editing the URL to go back to https://pontoon.mozilla.org/fr . That’s the faster way I’ve found, but still a broken behavior…

Even reverting the order would probably not be enough to make me use the menu, I think I’d love to have a direct link to my team page on the translate view (i.e., without having to open a drop down menu and remember where this link is located)

I agree very much that we need to redesign the main menu and ease these steps.
