Sadly the gecko.log doesn't contain any tracing output. So it's very hard to see what was going on.
Joel or Geoff, would you be ok when we simply disable this test for Windows XP on esr52?

I'm not able to push the patch to mozreview for the esr52 branch due to gateway timeout issues. So just uploading it as a old-style patch for splinter.

I'm also not able to push this patch to try, because it times out locally when checking for changes. So I just verified with a Windows XP VM that `Services.sysinfo.getProperty("version")` returns "5.1". So checking for <6 is fine.

Can someone please land the patch on esr52? Thanks.
