1355013 - Thunderbird 52.0: Printing lots of empty pages via PDFCreator

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I use Thunderbird 52 released over Release channel and PDFCreator version 1.7.3
1. open a message on a new tab or in a preview pane
2. press CTRL+P to open a printing dialog
3. select PDF Creator as a printer
4. print (and save created PDF file)



Actual results:

The printing takes so long time and the resulted PDF file contains tons of blank pages.


Expected results:

Just print the content of the message as previous version of Thunderbird (45.8.0) does. Revert back to the Thunderbird version 45.8.0 solved the problem.

This has been reported before, however, none of our developers has been able to reproduce the problem.

Actually, so far people only reported problems with real printers.

Where can I find this "PDF Creator", there seem to be many, like:
http://www.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator/download - Version 2.5

OK, I installed that version 2.5 and printed one e-mail. Result: One page. As I said, none of our developers has been able to reproduce the problem.
