From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020404 BuildID: 200204010 When open a site that requires Java I first get a pop-up screen asking me whether I want to install the appropriate plugin. When I click yes I get a whole browser window with the choice between Windows, Windows International and Linux. I select Linux and i get a popup-screen showing progress. When installing is done I get another browser window that says installation has succeeded. So for a simple Java plugin I get 2 popup-windows, and 2 browser windows. I think the browser windows should be replaced by simple popup screens, and the 4 windows should be reduced to 2. - Informing that the installation has succeded can be done in the same window as the installation progress - The choice between Linux or Windows can be made by the browser, no user needed for this! To be short: the installation windows for a plugin can be polished somewhat. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.See the above description.
Over to marketing. This isn't part of the browser I can fix, it's a page on the Netscape website.
