I drag from the location bar over to bookmarks folder in my personal toolbar. This pops us the bookmarks menu, but I then decide to place it in the personal toolbar. The boomarks menu remains on the screen after releasing the mouse and becomes "sticky". Even clicking an item in the bookmarks menu doesn't dispose of it.
