I don't think we sync add-on prefs on Desktop, either, do we? (Unless you manually add a `services.sync.prefs.sync.{prefName} = true` pref). We'll also need to make sure we do the right thing for Web Extensions.

WebExtensions provide browser.storage.sync which does all these things! :)
