User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.133 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: I have a web calling application Step 1 : Player a song in window media player or vlc or any other media player. Step 2 : Now user receive a call from another user. Step 3 : Yet user didn't pick call and it's ringing. Actual results: While user receiving a call and it's ringing then in the background user was listening a song and that song is still playing. Expected results: When user receive a call and it's ringing then background music player should stop music. Note: it's working fine with Google Chrome. they are handling same.
Just to make sure I understand, it sounds like you have a WebRTC application running in the browser and when a connection is established, you expect that other audio players will be muted? Thanks!

Yes, It is WebRTC application.
What site produces the ringing sound you describe? Please post reproduce steps showing the behavior you mention in Chrome. I tried https://appr.tc on Windows (it has no ring however) and was not able to reproduce anything like described. A video I was playing in the background with Media Player kept blaring when I joined a WebRTC room.
Actually I am working on Intranet Based web application and i wish I could show to you but unfortunately i don't have any cloud setup for same.
Since this report AFAICT appears to be about muting other system sounds while a site is "ringing", this would be a playback issue, not a WebRTC issue, since WebRTC doesn't "ring". Moving to playback. Sorry for the detour.
