Steps to reproduce:

Use Firefox like usual. After a certain period of time and several tabs opened, the title in the title bar disappears. Here's a GIF to see what happens: http://imgur.com/a/37GAI


Actual results:

The title in the title bar disappears for no reason.


Expected results:

The title should have stayed there. Plus, when I enable back the default theme, the title appears again. But it's gone once you activate again the new themes (black or white, it doesn't matter).

Some of you might say "reboot and it'll be good". It works, indeed. But the problem comes back after a certain time.

I have tested this issue on Mac OS 10.12 with the latest Firefox release (53.0) and the latest Nightly (55.0a1-20170424030211) and haven't managed to reproduce the issue.
After enabling the "Compact Dark" theme and opening several tabs, the title in the title bar doesn't disappear, also when enabling back to the default theme and navigating to different websites, the issue is still not reproducible.

Can you please specify the custom theme that you may have installed and also the add-ons enabled on your Firefox profile, if any?
Also I would kindly ask you to retest this using the latest Nightly build (https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and report back the results? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/AR5o9d).
