Approved the exception and let the page load Actual results: The fallback "character in colored box" icon is used on the tab. Expected results: The actual favicon specified by the page should have been shown.

Works fine with the same page with TLS, as well as with a valid certificate. I'm also fairly sure this is a regression, but it's difficult to downgrade so I can't say from which version.

If you add your cert to the Android OS it may work. The favicon is fetched completely in Java and has no information about the certificates that Gecko has been told to accept.
